congregational struggles

Recently met a cousin I hadn't seen since a family reunion a couple years ago. We rendezvoused in Wilmington, DE, which is between our homes.

He leads a church with a dwindling congregation of old white folks. His Sunday service is followed by a Korean-language congregation. It seems their number is somewhat diminished, too. Apparently, the competition amongst Korean congregations is quite fierce, with new pastors or ministers entering the area and seeking to grow their flock.

(Meanwhile, I wonder if I should suggest to my cousin that he try podcasting his sermons. He could probably reach a whole new audience.)
